For 5 years the Tucson Art Academy in Tucson, Arizona has been a place where artists come to improve their craft and master their technical challenges in traditional fine art workshops from some of the best nationally recognized artists.

The Academy’s quality of instructors has attracted students from all over the world who want to build a strong foundation of skills. We will continue to offer these workshops but..........

Gabor Svagrik, the founder of the Tucson Art Academy, is the first one to teach, and will be the facilitator for these online courses.

John Budicin Workshop

One of the finest landscape artists today John Budicin, conducted a 3 day workshop in sunny Tucson. He is a member of the Plein Air Painters of America and has exhibited at the Annual California Art Club Gold Medal Show for many years. He has also been in numerous articles in some of the leading art magazines.
The students learned about simplifying their subjects, correcting their values ranges and to use color in a controlled manner.
